Typical Responsibilities: 

This position will work closely with other organizations within SCE,including Hydro Generation, Transmission/Substation, Carrier Solutions,  Law, and Corporate Real Estate to assist in obtaining permits for new  projects, support environmental compliance for operation/maintenance  activities, re-license existing projects, implement license/permit  conditions, and help other departments maintain compliance with local,  state, and federal regulations protecting sensitive biological resources. 

These positions will act as Company interface with regulatory and resource  agency officials such as U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Bureau of Land  Management, California Department of Fish & Game, U.S. Fish & Wildlife  Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the public. Senior /Mid-level Water Quality Specialist

Education:

Bachelors, Masters in any environmental, engineering, science, or planning field is required, with an emphasis on water quality.

Duties

This position will provide a lead role in developing our water
quality practice; managing water resources projects; leading or assisting with hydrologic, fisheries, and habitat restoration projects; and providing input to CEQA, NEPA, and permit applications, with particular emphasis in these areas depending on the particular skills of the applicant.
