Sponsorship Opportunities
As a professional involved with environmental
and land use planning in California, we would like to invite your
participation in the 2004 State Conference of the Association of
Environmental Professionals (AEP) to be held at the Omni Hotel in the
vibrant City of Los Angeles from April 15, through April 18, 2004. AEP
consists of over 1000 corporate and individual members committed to
improving the expertise of public and private professionals in the
development and implementation of laws, policies and procedures related to
environmental analysis, resource management, and land use planning. The
California Chapter of the National Association of Environmental
Professionals (CalNAEP) will host a Sustainable Communities workshop as a
pre-conference seminar on Thursday April 15. This will also take place at
the Omni Hotel.
Last year’s conference attracted almost 200
participants from a variety of disciplines in the public and private sectors.
This year AEP is also outreaching to include builders, developers, attorneys,
lenders, farmers, land trusts, and public infrastructure professionals.
This year the conference theme
is, "Transiting to a Better Future.” The conference is organized around three
concurrent tracks: Environmental Planning, Environmental Analysis and
Environmental Process. Each track consists of several focused sessions.
In addition to conference
registration fees, the high quality of annual AEP conferences is ensured through
corporate sponsorships, exhibitions and advertising. Last year’s sponsors
included RECON Environmental Inc., Higgins Associates, Sapphos Environmental,
Inc., Pacific Municipal Consultants, Mooney Associates, Denise Duffy &
Associates, EMC Planning Group Inc., Michael Brandman Associates, David J.
Powers & Associates, Inc., Bonterra Consulting, Jones & Stokes, RBF Consulting,
SWCA, Inc. Environmental Consultants, PSOMAS, EDAW, HDR, Chambers Group and
Crawford Multari & Clark Associates.
Your firm's sponsorship is an
essential element for the success of the 2004 AEP Conference. In addition to
the benefits your contribution brings to the environmental and land use
professions, you will receive recognition at the conference, in the conference
program, registration discounts, and exhibit advantages, depending on the level
of your sponsorship. Enclosed is a summary of the sponsorship levels available,
as well as opportunities for hosting individual events. Please review the
enclosed materials, complete and return the enclosed response form with your
contribution, and designate a contact person in your firm regarding this
request. Further conference information including regular updates can be found
on-line at: www.califaep.org. Interested conference attendees will also visit
this site frequently and we will acknowledge your sponsorship with links to your
own website.
As you make your decision to
provide sponsorship for the 2004 conference, please consider that this gathering
of the Statewide AEP in Los Angeles will provide:
-
A relaxed, yet professional
atmosphere to connect with private practice, governmental, and other
environmental professionals.
-
An opportunity to contribute
thoughts and ideas about the Environmental Process and how
today’s policies and guidelines steer the process of Environmental
Planning and Environmental Analysis.
-
An extensive network arena to
increase exposure of your firm's qualifications, experience and
accomplishments.
Always a source of fun and
conversation, we also invite your company or organization to provide any
promotional items for inclusion in conference tote bags given to each conference
attendee. Creativity and uniqueness always stand out – as will your contribution
to the spirit of the conference. Past items have included, pens, puzzles,
notepads, and even yo-yo’s, etc, with the corporate or agency logo.
We will be calling you soon to
discuss your support. If you have any questions or ideas, please contact me at
(818) 366-7938 or Jennifer@cajaeir.com
for more information. All of us with the organizing committee for the statewide
conference look forward to your support and participation.
Sincerely,
